This involved some tough and precarious walking through the many hectares of bush on our BirdCare Aotearoa property which backs onto the Manukau Harbour.

The climbing asparagus is a difficult weed to work with but the team worked well together and made a significant dent. There is still plenty left though!

Our bush is full of nikau, from new regenerating plants to very old trees. And the volunteers delighted in the learnings, the positive vibes and the beautiful surroundings. Thanks you very much!!
